At the Penguin Parade, little penguins return from the ocean to their burrows around sunset. Viewing platforms and boardwalks offer a way to watch the nightly arrival while keeping the colony's habitat protected.

Phillip Island Nature Parks says bookings are essential and advises visitors to arrive well before the estimated penguin arrival time. The visitor centre has cafe, retail and bathroom facilities, and the experience is outdoors in all weather.
